69th Anniversary of Vietnam People’s Army
Dr. Tran Van Dien – Rector of TUAF, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Phung – Vice Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Hue Vien – Vice Rector and Chairman of TUAF war veterans graced the occasion, together with the leaders of functional units and the 42 veterans who are still working at TUAF.
During the celebration, Dr. Tran Van Dien recalled the history of Vietnam People’s Army and gave emphasis on the great contribution of TUAF faculty members, staffs and students not only to the fight against foreign invaders for national independence and freedom but also to the noble achievements of TUAF.
On this occasion, 06 veterans were awarded the Certificate of Merit for their outstanding accomplishment for the assigned tasks. Thereafter, Dr. Tran Hue Vien offered a bouquet of flowers for Mr. Hoang Trung Thanh who underwent difficulties in defense for the fatherland and was recognized as 4/4 war invalid.
