A Memorandum Of Agreement Signing was held between Thainguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) and Songhan Incubator

The representatives of TUAF included Assoc. Prof. Tran Van Dien – Rector of TUAF; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen The Hung –Vice Rector of TUAF; Dr. Nguyen Huu Tho- Director of Office of Research and International Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Hoang Thi Bich Thao Director of International Training and Development Center; Dr. Ho Ngoc Son - Deputy Dean of Faculty of Forestry; and Dr. Ha Quang Trung- Deputy Dean of Faculty of Economics and Rural Development. The delegate of Songhan Incubator is Ly Dinh Quan – Director.

At the Memorandum Of Agreement Signing ceremony, Dr Tran Van Dien, emphasized the essiental task of TUAF is to encourage Startup spirit of TUAF students and spread out such spirit over the Northern mountainous of Vietnam. Startup will contribute to transfer the researches’ output into the real life and assist students in developing their own businesses.  

Songhan Incubator is implemented with five main objectives: (1) Consulting about building Startup Ecosystem (2) Consulting for Startup projects with innovation and creativity (3) Traning Startup with Innovation and Creativite (4) Acceleration program for Startup (5) Authorizing and Managing Investment. Mr Ly Dinh Quan stated that the northeast region particularly, Thainguyen province reaches many advantages about human resources and the culture value to become the potential area generating Startup Ecosystem programs.

After signing the MOA, TUAF and Songhan Incubator will have more detail in the cooperation activities. Particularly, Songhan Inculbator will assist the Center of Incubator and Startup Support (CIS) – TUAF to have a reliable implementation plan for developing Startup system at TUAF to generate innovation and higher reputation for TUAF.
