Delegates from National Chiao Tung University (NCTU), Taiwan visit Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry

The meeting with NCTU delegation was actively participated Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Dien – Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen The Hung – Vice rector, Dr. Nguyen Huu Tho – Head of Office of Research and International Affairs, Dr. Do Thi Lan – Dean of Faculty of Environment, Dr. Duong Van Thao – Vice Director of International Training and Development Center, Dr. Tran Van Chi – Deputy Dean of Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Technology.

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Dien expressed high hope that two universities will cooperate to develop advanced technologies in the field of agriculture and environmental protection as well as other potential fields such as faculty & student exchange, internship program and joint research projects.NCTU expected to seek opportunities to collaborate with TUAF especially the joint research project in the field of environmental protection and waste treatment using advanced technologies of Taiwan.

Prof. Lin and Prof. Doong also gave seminar presentation on ANAMMOX waste water treatment technology and the opportunities to get scholarship in NCTU for students and young staffs of TUAF.
