Dr. Paul Kristiansen, University of New England pays a visit to TUAF

On March 19, 2018, Prof.Dr. Nguyen The Hung - Vice Rector, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture & Forestry had a meeting with Dr. Paul Kristiansen from the University of New England (UNE), Australia. Attending the meeting were Dr. Pham Bang Phuong – Vice Director of Research & International Affairs Office; Dr. Nguyen Van Tam - Vice Dean of Faculty of Economics and Rural Development and lecturers from Faculty of Agricultural and Rural Development, Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Technology.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed on (1) The joint training program at Bachelor and Master Degree in Agricultural Economics; (2) The nomination of students from UNE to study at TUAF under the New Colombo program of the Australian government and sending TUAF students to study at UNE for a semester or conducting the research. In addition, the two sides also exchanged ideas on topics for the proposals of the joint research project.

On this occasion, Dr. Paul Kristiansen delivered two presentations on (1) Organic Food: Marketing Opportunities and Challenges in Vietnam and (2) Writing for publication and grants and Post-graduate opportunities” at the seminar with the participation of TUAF lecturers.
