I. Function and Responsibility

1. Function

Student Affairs Department is a functional agency that helps the Principal to comprehensively manage the students; organizing ideological and political education activities, ensuring political security, social order and safety in students; track emulation, discipline and implementation of the State's policies towards students.

2. Responsibility

2.1. Political and ideological education

 - Advise the Rector to well educate the ideological and political of officials and students.

- Management of ideological of officials and students, to solve problems that arise.

- Organize the study of resolutions and policies of the Party and the State; political and ideological education, legal education, moral education, lifestyle, traditional education ...

- Organize and implement of competitions in students; coordinate with TN Youth Union to organize all activities to fight against drug, crime and social evils.

- Coordinate with the Office of Academic Affairs to organize "Citizens week for students" at the beginning of the school year, at the beginning of the course, at the end of the course; coordinate with the Youth Union and Student Union to organize students to participate in cultural, arts and sports activities.

2.2. Student management

-Welcoming and enrolling students to study at the school; organize classification of students by specialization, coordinate with the Health Station to organize medical examinations for students according to regulations; making student IDs; carry out body insurance for students.

- Organize the consideration of scholarships, school fee reduction and exemption according to the current regime; consider and choose students to receive scholarships outside of funding, scholarships to study abroad under the guidance of TNU; propose disciplinary measures for students violating internal rules and regulations.

- Implement the departments to conduct training and grading grading students' rankings by semester, school year; organize outreach student work, receive inpatient applications for students.

-Receiving and managing foreign students studying in the school according to the current Regulations; receive students from abroad to continue studying, students from other schools transfer to the school; coordinate with departments to deal with administrative procedures for students to change schools and study majors.

-Implementing the Regulation on management of outpatient students issued under Decision No. 1718/QD-UB of August 28, 2007, of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee.

-Managing blank diploma, and certificate  issued by TNU; print certificates and diplomas for students; organize graduation awards for students.
