The Humphrey Fellowship Program is a one-year, non-degree, full scholarship program offered to promising mid-career professionals who have a proven track record of leadership, and a strong commitment to public service.

The U.S. Embassy recruits and nominates Vietnamese scholars for placement by the Council for the International Exchange of Scholars (CIES) as lecturers and researchers in U.S. universities for terms of three to nine months;from seven to ten scholars ;from Vietnam travel to the United States on an annual basis.
