The U.S. Embassy in Vietnam is pleased to announce the Fulbright Vietnamese Student Scholarship Program for the academic year 2013-2014. Established in 1946 and funded by the U.S. Congress, the Fulbright Program aims at achieving mutual understanding through academic and cultural exchange.
The U.S. Embassy recruits and nominates Vietnamese scholars for placement by the Council for the International Exchange of Scholars (CIES) as lecturers and researchers in U.S. universities for terms of three to nine months;from seven to ten scholars ;from Vietnam travel to the United States on an annual basis.
