A working visit of representatives from Ghent University, Belgium

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Tran Van Dien welcomed the delegation from Ghent University to Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry. Professor Guy Smagghe, a representative of Ghent university also expressed their desire to cooperate and collaborate with TUAF in both education and research aspects.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed the prospect of cooperation on establishing exchange students program, and agreed on the coordinated implementation of research projects, and sending young staffs and lecturers of TUAF to Ghent for training. In addition, the TUAF also kindly requested Ghent University to provide some assistance in the training and teaching for the master's program in TUAF.

In the afternoon, Prof. Guy Smagghe and Prof. Katleen Raes delivered the presetation at the seminar on Recent Advances in Biotechnology and Food Technology with the participation of TUAF researchers and students.
