The working visit of the delegation from Linköping city, Sweden

In the framework of the cooperation project between Thai Nguyen City and Linköping City, Sweden financed by the International Center for Local Democracy of Sweden, the delegates of Linköping city paid a visit to Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry - TUAF on October 18, 2016.

The meeting with the delegation from Linköping city was actively participated by: Mr Luong Chi Cong – Deputy Head, Division of International Cooperation, Thai Nguyen Department of Foreign Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Van Minh – Vice President, Thai Nguyen University - TNU; Ms Dang Thi Thanh Huong – Deputy Head, Department of International Cooperation, TNU;Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen The Hung – Vice Rector, TUAF, Dr. Nguyen Huu Tho – Director, Office of Research and International Affairs, TUAF, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Thi Lan – Dean, Faculty of Environment, TUAF, and Dr. Pham Bang Phuong – Vice Director, Office of Research and International Affairs, TUAF.

At the meeting, the representative of TUAF presented a report on the cooperation between TUAF and Linköping City in general and Linköping University in particular. From April, 2015 to March, 2016, Linköping University sent 02 bachelor students and 02 master students to TUAF for completing their final research. The Linköping University and TUAF co-organized 02 seminars with the participation of TUAF teaching staffs and students; cooperated to conduct 01 BMP – (biochemical methane potential) experiment. In addition, 02 AEP (Advanced Education Program) students worked with students from Linköping University on biogas and successfully defended their theses.
