Announcement for international conference held at Thai Nguyen University

Thai Nguyen University (TNU) and the World Bank- Vietnam will hold the International Conference on “Sustainable Development and Ethnic Minority Poverty Reduction in Mountainous Regions”

1. Date: June 11 to 13, 2014

2. Venue: Learning Resource Center, Thai Nguyen University

3. Topics of Interest

- Livelihoods and linking to markets;

- Cultural issues;

- Natural resources and hazards; and

- Human development

4. Abstract Submission

- Academics/researcher and development practitioners are required to submit their

a. Area of Interest, categorized into paper / poster /video presentation, before March 20, 2014

b. Abstract before April 10, 2014;

- Each submission will be reviewed by the members of the Steering Committee;

- Announcement/Notification of acceptance of the paper for oral, poster or video presentation will be notified on or before April 20, 2014;

- Deadline for full paper submission is May 10, 2014.
