Discussion between TUAF and Nui Phao Mining Company Limited

The participants were Dr. Tran Van Dien – Rector of TUAF; Mr. Nguyen Huu Tho – Vice Director of Science & International Affairs Office; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Ngoc Lan – Dean of Environment Faculty; Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hai – Vice Dean of Environment Faculty.

The aim of the meeting was to discuss on opportunities to work together on fate analysis of contaminant from surface surrounding Nui Phao Operations; Metal uptake of food crops grow in mining waste; Erosion Control; Waste water treatment;

At the meeting, the representative of TUAF also gave a brief introduction of TUAF and Environment Faculty as well as TUAF capacity to deal with the above-mentioned issues.
