For peoples who live far from their hometown, country, family and friends and do not have chance to welcome New Year with their family. So these are emotional moments to remember their hometown. However, 08 Lao students 08 Lao students still enjoy the atmosphere of their traditional new year festival in Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry.
On the occasion of Bun Py May New Year of Lao People's Democratic Republic, on 14/04/2012 Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry held a meeting with Lao students studying in the university.

Attending the meeting were Dr. Hoang Thi Bich Thao, deputy head of the office of Science & International Relations, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry; Mr. Mai Dinh Duc, head of the student affairs office of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, representatives of the friendship Vietnam - Laos, the teachers from University of Agriculture and Forestry, University of Medicine and Pharmacy and University of Education, Lao students studying at the University of Education and the University of Medical and Pharmacy – Thai Nguyen University as well as Vietnamese students.
