Potential Cooperation between TUAF and Peru partners
At the meeting, representatives from TUAF presented an overview of history, development, research capacity, researches on tea plant in the period of 2010 to 2015; tea production & plantation area; and the situation of tea production in Thai Nguyen province.

Moreover, Mr José Luis Rabines Alarcón gave an introduction to Peruvian agriculture especially agricultural products which are high in vitamins and proteins such as: Maca, quinua….It would be useful information for TUAF scientists to research and grow these crops in Vietnam.

Peruvian Embassy also shared information about the working visit of Vietnamese Delegation to Peru on August, 2015 in order to discuss to sign an Memorandum of Understanding on Trade and Science - technology. This would be a favorable condition for cooperation between the two countries in general and TUAF & Peru partners in particular.
