Seminar on Agricultural Technologies and Sustainable Development in Agriculture

There were the presences of 13 Nepalese researchers working in Irrigation and Water Resources Management Project; Chief Technical Coordinator, Project VIE/036 Irrigation Cao Bang Wise Use of Water and Agriculture funded by Luxembourg; Leaders of Thai Nguyen Department of Agriculture & Rural Development; Leaders of Research & International Affairs Office and lecturers of Agricultural Economics & Rural Development, TUAF.

The objective of seminar is to provide the participants information regarding the agriculture of Vietnam such as: Agricultural value chain, Agricultural market management, Viet GAP introduction in Vietnam, Water management adopted by farmers in irrigation agriculture. The attendees also participated in the field trip in Thai Nguyen, Hai Duong province and Hanoi City.

The successful seminar enables TUAF to seek the cooperation opportunities with Nepalese partners in the near future.
