TUAF-NCU: Strengthen the cooperation

On the occasion of the Year of the Rooster 2017, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen The Hung sent the best wishes to NCU delegates and expressed his high hope that the collaboration between TUAF and NCU will be strengthened.

At the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Huu Tho – Director, Office of Research & International Affairs presented a report on the cooperation activities between TUAF and Universities in Taiwan in general and NCU in particular. Highly appreciating the obtained cooperation results, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen The Hung and Prof. Chang Chung-Pai discussed a plan for enhancing the collaboration between two universities in the field of training and research. Two parties agreed to sign the Agreement on offering the dual degree program majoring in “Environmental Sciences” and “Land Management” in 2017.  This summer, NCU will send 02 professors to TUAF for delivering the lecture and discussing on the research topic in order to writing the proposal for the joint research project. In connection to the International Master Program in collaboration with Greifswald University, Germany, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen The Hung proposed NCU to cooperate with TUAF in building the module "GIS & Remote Sensing".
