Workshop for Active and Inclusive Teaching and Learning

On December 22, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry held a scientific seminar on active and inclusive teaching and learning. Attending the seminar were members of the School Council, Rector Board, Dean Board, Head of Department, students and lecturers who participated in training courses of active and inclusive teaching and learning, Representatives of Aus4skills and partner University (La Trobe University, Australia).

With 16 presentations and 10 discussion topics in 4 groups, delegates exchanged directly about the advantages and disadvantages of organizing active and inclusive teaching for students with difficult circumstances. The advantages of teaching method have narrowed the distance about psychology and creative thinking ability of teachers and students. Especially in group activities and online teaching, students are directly engaged in activities of building learning content, researching and actively solving problems through the guidance of instructors and talents. reference material. Some difficulties are the stage of grouping and classifying learners, which must match the conditions of regions. Therefore, the role of lecturers in organizing learning is very important in preparing knowledge approaches.

In the coming time, the University will come up with a very comprehensive plan to improve the teaching quality of the University and propose a strategic plan to apply inclusive and active teaching methods at the University.
