Mr Le Sy Tuan - Winner of Shunji Murai Award 2015
Mr Le Sy Tuan -Lectuer of Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry, who is taking his Master’s degree major in Remote Sensing at the National Central University (NCU) Taiwan, will be granted Shunji Murai Awarded 2015 at the opening ceremony of the 36th Asian Conference on Remote Sensing(ACRS) on October19th, 2015 in Manila.
Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Nong awarded the 30-year Party Seniority Badge
On October 01, 2015, under the charter of Communist Party of Vietnam, TUAF Party Committee organized a ceremony of awarding the 30-year Party Seniority Badge for Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Nong- Vice Rector of TUAF. It was not only the honor for Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Nong but also for the whole Party with elite party members who have many years of dedication to the development of TUAF Party committee.
Faculty of Environment honored advanced model in environmental protection activities
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MoNRE) held a ceremony in Hanoi on September 29 to honour advanced models with outstanding achievements in environmental protection activities throughout the 2011-2015 period. Faculty of Environment – Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture is one of 70 advanced models.

Dr. Pham Bang Phuong – outstanding young scientist in 2015
Prime Minister (PM) Nguyen Tan Dung met with young scientists who have achieved outstanding achievements recognized nationally and internationally in Hanoi on September 11, 2015. Dr. Pham Bang Phuong – lecturer of Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry is one of 70 outstanding young scientists with the best achievements and great contributions in science and technology sector. He was born in 1980. In 2014, he obtained a Ph.D from Gyeongsang National University, Korea.
The Strategy for Science and Technology Development in the 2015-2020 period
On August 31, 2015 TUAF organized a meeting on strategy of TUAF for Science and Technology Development in the 2015-2020 period. The meeting was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Dien – Rector.
45th Founding Anniversary Celebration of TUAF
TUAF was founded in 1970. After 45 years of constant transformation and growth, it has been recognized as the center for training, scientific research and technology transfer in agriculture, forestry, environmental resource management, and rural development in the midland and northern mountainous provinces of Vietnam. The 45th Founding Anniversary Celebration of TUAF will be held on November 14-15, 2015 at TUAF, Thai Nguyen City, Vietnam.

Welcome Party for new international students
The difference of the Advanced Education Program (AEP), Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) compared to other programs constitutes by 30% of international students those are studying and living in TUAF. This time round, AEP welcomed 32 new students and this brings the number of international students on campus to 67 students.

On August 06, 2015, Dr. Tung –Yi Lee – Director of Science and Technology Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hanoi, Vietnam together with Dr. Chiu-Yue Lin – Director of Green Energy Development Center, Feng-chia University, and Dr. Chen-Yeon Chu – Chief of Division of International Cooperation, Green Energy Development Center, Feng-chia University had a working visit to Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry.
