Currently, facing with the international integration which is taking place rapidly, the demand for studying and experiencing abroad of Vietnamese students is also going up. Implementing policy of the Government about improving the quality of education, strengthening job skills, with the purpose of training students to become the global citizens, in many years, TUAF have performed effectively a lot of international cooperation programs in many countries such as Israel, USA, Australia, Germany, Japan.... These programs have confirmed the brand and reputation of TUAF as a reliable address in the field of training of human resources for the international integration.
Being a small country in the Western Pacific region, Taiwan has developed into an economic superpower and maintained its position at the forefront of many industries over the world. Realizing the potential for Thai Nguyen students in this country, particularly in the Food Technology field, after a period of researching, discussing and negotiating, the International Training and Development Center (ITC) – TUAF and Taiwanese Food Processing Company set up a paid vocational internship program in Taiwan. This is an extremely useful internship program, which not only gives students knowledge but also the experience in a professional working environment with attractive benefits. In the framework of the program, the Taiwan Food Technology Company also had an interview to selected the first 40 students will go to Taiwan in March 2018.

At the signing ceremony, the Taiwanese Food Technology Company introduced preliminarily about their business. This company specializing the production of fast food diets, cakes, noodles, sushi...which are supplied for Family Mart stores. In particular, since 2007, they established a branch in Ho Chi Minh City, and they are planning to open one more branch in Hanoi. The company's revenue growth is always good. Every day, they produce 20,000 instant meals and provide for 38,2% convenience stores in Taiwan. The technology which is applied in production is a modern Japanese production line and is being further developed by the company. In addition, the international students who work at this company will be arranged accommodation in the modern and convenient dormitories, and always receive many attractive benefits.
On behalf of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Dien also stressed the potential of learning and working in Taiwan. In addition, he confirmed the internship programs in Taiwan for students is one of the directions of that the school and he hoped that cooperative relationship between the two parties would develop well. The University assigned task to ITC to continue training skills and language for student so that they would have the capacity, quality that satisfy the requirements of the program.

Following the working day, on 26th September, the Taiwanese Food Technology Company held a meeting and interviewed with students. There were more than 100 students who enrolled in the program, through the preliminary selection round, ITC selected 81 outstanding students to attend the interview with the representatives of the company.
Before interviewing, the student had a test to check the skillful of hands. Students will work in modern lines so their hands need to be flexible to achieve high productivity.

The interview took place successfully with good results, 40 students was selected. As representatives’ assessment, the quality of students was quite good, both awareness and capacity. However, the Taiwanese Government just allowed the company to receive 40 students. Therefore, firstly, they could only pick 40 students to apply for the internship. The company representatives promised to work with the Taiwanese Government to bring more opportunities for students in Thai Nguyen and Vietnam.
The selected candidates will continue to study and improve their Chinese language to be more active during the program in Taiwan. ITC center congratulates the students who passed the interview. Wish your new journey on the beautiful island - Taiwan - in March 2018 will be successful!
