In the morning December 2nd, the delegation of Linköping city and TUAF co-organized a seminar to explain on the potential of using agriculture waste to produce bio-gas by technology from Linköping. There were two main contents in the seminar: (1) A presentation of Miss ZanaSefane – drainage and water treatment engineer on the real situation of waste water and solid waste treatment in Song Cong city; the prediction to 2030.This emphasizes Song Cong city will be highly polluted by industrial and agriculture waste, if Song Cong’s waste treatment systems are not updated. One of the proposed solutions is constructing waste treatment systems combine with bio-gas technology. (2) Presentation of Mr.Soren Nilsson Paledal - processing engineer of TekniskaVerkenLinköping Company about application bio-gas technology for waste treatment. In which introduce some models of bio-gas waste treatment technologies in Sweden and around the world. The new technology of Sweden can produce purified bio-gas, which contain 97% of NH4. This technology also showed the ability to treat all kind of waste and agricultural byproducts.

In the afternoon, the delegation of Linköping city had a meeting with Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen The Hung - Vice Rector of TUAF and representatives of faculties/functional office. The meeting was mainly discussing on: (1) Co-operation in the constructing of the bio-gas researchc center at TUAF; (2) Providing advisory for graduate and undergraduate students of Linköping University and TUAF; (3) Joint research project between two governments on improving the productive and efficiency of using bio-gas technology in waste treatment; (4) Student exchange programs between Linköping University and TUAF.

The working visit of the delegation from of Linköping city, Sweden has contributed to promote the relationship two countries Vietnam-Sweden, Thai Nguyen-Linköping, and practically between two universities TUAF-Linköping.
