Welcoming the delegation of North Korea Embassy to TUAF

On March 19^th, 2021, the delegation of North Korea Embassy to TUAF led by Mr. Ri Ho Jun, Charge d'affaires of North Korea Embassy paid a visit to Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF). Welcoming the delegation were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Dien, Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hung Quang, Vice Rector, and leader representatives of the University's units.

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Dien, Rector of TUAF, sent a warm welcome to the delegation of North Korea Embassy to TUAF. The Vice Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr Nguyen Hung Quang shared general information on TUAF's training, scientific research and technology transfer activities, and emphasized the significant role of the University in the agriculture and rural development of the mountainous area.

With strengths in agriculture, forestry and environment fields, the University has promoted the implementation of many cooperative research programs which was relevant to Agriculture and Rural development. The University has constantly expanded cooperation relationships with international institutes, universities and organizations in North Korea.
