Happel Scholarship Program is a result of the Memorandum of Agreement between Vietnam Study Promotion Association and Happel Fund, the Federal Republic of Germany signed on May 18, 2004 in an effort to provide scholarships for Vietnamese students & researchers.
Representative of scholarship grantees
Happel grantees will receive EUR 30 (800.000 VND) per month during four years of undergraduate study at TUAF and financial aid for purchasing books. The scholarship gave to those who were facing difficulty in life or living in remote areas. The voluntary return of students to work in rural areas after their graduation is an objective of the Program. Awards were based on the 1st semester learning outcomes of students.
25 students signed contract with Happel Institute.
Since 2005, 197 students of TUAF have been awarded Happel Scholarship.
