MoU Signing Ceremony between TUAF and Faculty of Agriculture, Kyushu University

Attending the ceremony were: Prof. Kazuaki Hiramatsu, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture, Kyushu University; Prof. Ikuo Miyajima - Institute of Tropical Agriculture, Kyushu University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Dien – TUAF Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen The Hung – Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof.Dr. Dao Thanh Van – Vice Director, Office of Academic Affairs; Dr. Nguyen Huu Tho – Director, Office of Research and International Affairs; Dr. Pham Bang Phuong – Vice Director, Office of Research and International Affairs; Dr. Hoang Thi Bich Thao – Director, International Training and Development Center; Dr. Duong Van Thao – Vice Director, International Training and Development Center.

At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Dien summarized the collaboration between TUAF and Faculty of Agriculture since 2007. He also emphasized that the extension of the MoU will enhance opportunities for educational and scientific cooperation and will strengthen the relationship between two parties.

Under the terms of the extended MOU, the participants discussed the potential areas for the collaboration such as: Teaching staff and student exchange; Joint research on hi-tech agriculture and Japanese teaching program.
