Officals of TUAF visit Philippines

The visit was headed by Dr. Tran Van Dien, Rector of TUAF, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen The Hung - Director of the International Training & Development Centre (ITDC), Dr. Hoang Thi Bich Thao – Vice Director of ITDC together with Prof. Olivia P. Magpily, Lecturer and ITDC Consultant for International Relations. 

A visit to LSPU

On arrival in the Philippines, the delegation was met at the airport by the LSPU Senior Faculty and they proceeded to LSPU Main Campus. A meeting on International Off-Campus Teaching of LSPU Students at Thai Nguyen University was discussed with President Nestor M. de Vera. The meeting culminated with an interview of prospective Student-Teachers who intend to undergo a 5-month Off-Campus in Vietnam. Then, the TUAF Officials awarded scholarships for LSPU students to study the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science & Management under the Advanced Education Program (AEP) at TUAF, and subsequently the TUAF Officials visited the Vietnamese Students who are studying in LSPU under the Study Abroad Program of ICTD.

After the visit to LSPU, the delegation went to Eulogio Amang Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST), a chartered state college of the Philippines located in Nagtahan Road in Manila. The state institute has a population of 24.000 students in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology and other science and technology courses. The EARIST President Dr. Eduardo S. Caillo and Dr. Tran Van Dien signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the Joint Academic Programs on Master’s and Ph.D Program  in Business Administration.

On the last day of the working visit, TUAF delegation had a meeting with the leaders of Cagayan State University (CSU) in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan Valley. After series of discussion, the TUAF and CSU leaders agreed to sign the MOU.
