On March 25, 2014, Mr. David James Bush – Group Leader, Forest Genetic Resources and Mr. Khongsak Pinyopusarerk, Australian Tree Seed Center (ATSC), the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) paid a visit to Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry.

On March 04, 2014, Mr. Nathan Goodwin – Environment Manager, Nui Phao Mining Company Limited had a meeting with leader of Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF).
The TUAF leaders spent an important working agenda during the visit of the delegation of Center for People and Forest (RECOFTC) on 13th February 2014. The objective of the visit was to continue the goals of strengthening the cooperation with international partners in the field of training, scientific research and technology transfer in order to effectively contribute to the training quality improvement and enhancement of TUAF.
The International Training Center organized an extracurricular activity to welcome Lunar New Year 2014 –Giap Ngo Spring for the international students studying in Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry, purposely to improve the use of Vietnamese Language, particularly the Bachelor of Arts in Vietnamese students (BAV 7 class), and to provide international students a chance to take part in cultural exchanges.
